Yale's second year manager just got thrown out of the second game of the doubleheader after the umpires got tired of his complaints which were holding up the game.

In any event, a colossal bullpen meltdown in the 9th which ruined a sensational start by the Columbia starter. My concern all along has been the bullpen, which also gave up 9 runs against Dartmouth in the 9th which almost cost us the sweep.

never heard of a ivy coach being tossed - no doubt it has happened previously.

as long as no chairs were thrown like Bobby Knight or that country singer we are good -- i was surprised that we gave up a sizeable lead in the 9th inning. guess coach needs to keep some hurlers from expending energy in the first game of a 3 game homestand.

Pete Carril was tossed on one occasion when both assistants were off recruiting. One of his players took over.

First time we have lost a series in a long time. We have a lot of offense but our pitching let us down in both of the games we lost. Congrats to Yale.

After the Yale series Brett posted that Yale outplayed us—some sloppy fielding and terrible relief pitching on our part.
