The man knows how to recruit, develop players, and manage a game. Yesterday I saw a first—I the bottom of the 8th relief pitcher James Vaughn struck out the side on 9 pitches. Not sure that I have seen that in any IL game in years.

Kudos to Dianne Murphy and Paul Fernandes in hiring Brett Boretti, who has to be among the Ivy's all time best hires. Can recruit, coach and manage a game.
