Did not focus on fact you were asking if he deserves to be as opposed to whether he already is.

He definitely had an excellent career as an executive.

I'm sure he will be discussed by the voters.

Sox finished last in their division three times under his stewardship; two more times in the years since he left. Bad karma was created by him when he stamped the NYY as the Evil Empire.

I was lucky enough to meet Larry years ago. (circa 2006). A friend of mine invited my wife and me to Fenway for a game and have dinner in the Red Sox owner's suite. (I thought it was his company's private box until he told me it wasn't). After dinner, we went outside to a private area to watch the game. In between innings, my friend came over to us with a guy who welcomed us to Fenway. (I thought he was part of the work staff). He had a Red Sox hat and a striped shirt and a world series ring on. It was Larry. Of course, I had no clue he was an owner until my friend asked me if I knew who he was and I said, no. I still have the 8x11 picture of Larry, me, my wife and my friend that is somwhere in one of our moving boxes from a recent move. I did not know at the time that I just met someone who had a major impact on the game.
