 cant offer it for free because there is a huge cost to producing the game. people, equipment, cords, broadcast partner... INTERNET at some fields.

Generally networks that broadcast games on live tv will not let the school stream those games as a means of protecting their investment. Surprised to see that Yes will let Yale stream the game. That said, Yale pays for the Yes coverage so they probably worked that into the agreement.
