Well, initial returns are in, and while they are somewhat inconclusive, we now have at least some data on which to base our opinions. The official preseason predictions were for the following order of finish: H D Y Col Pr UP Cor B.
It seems that assigning Brown to the cellar was the prognosticators’ biggest error. Also, they may have been too bullish on the Lions. Time will tell. B-H in Cambridge this coming weekend will be huge, obviously. Also Big Red has given Bulldogs fits in recent years. Stay tuned.

What do others think?

I’m think it’s a three team race between Dartmouth Harvard and Yale.

I thought that DHY would be the top three teams in pre-season.
Saturday cemented my early ranking.

Go Green and I think alike so far.

Gentlemen; the horses have barely made it out of the starting gate. Bears are, indeed the biggest surprise long race to go.

"Brown is really good" and "Columbia is really bad" might be candidates for Overreaction of the Week.

One isolated data point does not a dataset make.

(Caveat: Brown may indeed be really good, and Columbia really bad. The point is, it's way too early to tell.)
