Subject: You Are Correct, GG. And That's the Difference Between Harvard and Brown

In reply to: Go Green 's message, "How long do Ivy investigations last?" on 10:49:56 08/17/25 Sun

You are correct, GG. And that's the difference between Harvard and Brown.

If you'll recall, the Ivy League office was the first to investigate the alleged misdeeds allegedly committed by Harvard alleged coach Amaker. The League office took a quick look around the Lavietes locker room and opined, "Seems clean to us. Nothing to see here."

The conference office ruled that Harvard had committed no offense.

After that, the NCAA weighed in, "Not so fast, my friends." The NCAA then began their own two-year investigation which reached the opposite conclusion as the conference investigators: A recruiting violation had been committed.

Four years ago, the Ivy League office on the Sunday morning after an Ivy League football had been concluded issued a press release stating that Harvard had been robbed of a rightful victory but that, in the name of decorum, Princeton would be allowed to count the "W". What the hell?

The Ivy League athletic conference is three-quarters of century old and this is the first time that a game was adjudicated the day following the final whistle.

It's the same as Michael Jordan getting all the calls in the last two minutes. Brown ain't gettin' that call.

Could you imagine what would happen if the staff at the B1G TEN office had Ohio State email addresses? Or if the SEC home office was on campus in Athens, GA?

Simple solution to sign stealing, it's called a huddle. Another reason why the NFL continue to huddle. If you're going use signs, then I don't have a problem with the other coach figuring out your signs and adjusting. If the Michigan coaches are watching the other teams signs, then figuring out the tendency what is wrong with that? If you go no-huddle offense then that's the risk you run.

That was not the misdeed. Off campus scouting was the violation
