Sitting here watching the rain come down this Sunday afternoon. I have donated to Cornell every year since graduation and I attend at least a couple of football games per season, but the lack of communication from the Cornell ticket office drives me nuts. For example, last November we attended the Cornell vs. Columbia game in NYC which was a lot of fun, but I contacted the Cornell ticket office to see if they were doing block tickets or a tailgate for the game, but no one ever called or emailed me back. My wife and I just bought tickets at the Columbia walk-up window. We have tens of thousands of Cornell alumni who live in the NYC metro area and you would think the Big Red athletic department would be interested in reaching out to us, other than requesting yet another donation. Maybe that's why Harvard has the largest endowment in the Ivy League and Cornell does not.
