What is a "biggot?" I will assume you mean bigot.
May I suggest reading some world history. Look at the globe. There is a rather strong correlation between areas with a protestant Christian background and rule of law. Old Testament law has many libertarian elements (though, admittedly, legal homosexuality is not one of them). Indeed, the War on Drugs, civil asset forfeiture, and many other abuses of our modern era are contraventions of Biblical Law.
While Christians are supposed to obey Old Testament Law, it does not mean they should enforce it on non-believers.
As for the fate of non-believers, the Gospels indicate a more lenient standard for them.
Granted, not all Christians are aware of these things. Indeed, most go to church on the wrong day of the week. But that is the job of us fundamentalists to delicately point these things out.
