I must also disagree with the statement that all christians are bigots. I am an ordained minister of the first polytheistic church of the united states, and while I have found some christians to be repressive, the same can be said of my experiences with muslims, pagans, wiccans, just about everybody except the taoists and I think they're too serene to be bigoted :). The unfortunate truth is that no religion has a monopoly on treating others badly because they don't share a certain belief system.
Consequently, I have always thought that bigotry was a form of prejudice, which is pre-judging a person based on their color, country, faith, etc. If that is the case, aren't you guilty of bigotry by making such a sweeping statement in the first place? I find it hard to believe that you have met every christian in the world.
