Give me a break!!!

Paranoia hiding behind patriotism.

Admittedly, you ARE in the USA and I am in Australia (and I love this country and am rather fond of your too), but surely if the U.S is so great, then privacy issues are addressed to a large degree in legislation as they are here.

The company I work for is not allowed to disclose the personal information of our clients without harsh penalties and also without good reason and appropriate paperwork from the legal system.

To be honest, if a government or law enforcement agency came to us with the relevant documentation as the law requires, the person, whos details we supply, probably deserves to be hung drawn and quarterd anyway for crimes he is suspected of committing and on the other side of the coin if you're not a criminal, you will not come under scrutiny anyway.

By all means, question everything if needs be, but lets not fall into the trap of hysterical paranoia taking over your mind.

As far as being separated from our money by cons and schemes. No one can force anyone to be parted from cash under the circumstances mentioned.
Most of us have a brain. Be informed and if it doesn't gel, say no.

Apart from that. Keep up the good work.
