Subject: I understand GW's losing, but they have been playing pretty poor and were noncompetitive against not only Tennessee (which would be understandable), but against a mediocre Georgetown team - losing by 21 points at home. Losing to Rice by 13 isn't awful as the Owls are usually decent, but they're not top 25 material. It seems to me that GW simply is still inconsistent - just like last year - so far. Remember how well they played against us in DC and then just fell apart not only against us in the A10 but also against Stanford in the NCAA first round, losing by 25? In my opinion they need a better point guard. I know they have been playing tough competition but are too good to be getting blown out like they have been...Unfortunately, they'll come around for us!
In reply to: X-band '01 's message, "As for the rest of the A-10, GW and St. Joe's will provide the biggest threats. The Hawks were unusually down last year, and they'll be back. GW, on the other hand, is simply struggling with a tough schedule - it's not unusual to see them start slow leading into A-10 play. Ironically, Xavier is really learning the price of upgrading their own schedule this season." on 02:19:48 12/10/01 Mon
