Subject: Mississippi State lost to UC 74-57, and I was there for the first half where UC got out to a 40-23 lead at the break. It looked like Mississippi State couldn't seem to run its offense effectively (sound familiar?) and they took a lot of quick shots without any passing. Still, LaToya Thomas is going to be a handful even though she was off today. I hate to play a team after a bad loss, and MSU is still 9-3 and has beaten some quality foes. I hope we look to run on them because their transition defense was poor in the first half today. We will also have our hands full with Tan White, a freshman who is big and can drive to the basket - she dropped 25 on UC.
