Subject: Dear God you are right about Amy. She is the only one with any conisistency and I too have observed her frustration with others not being able to run the plays.
In reply to: HomerCecil 's message, "Amy cannot be blamed. Whoever mentioned that the other players don't know the plays is exactly right. Even Kreager, who should definitely know them by now, seems lost at times. Amy is constantly directing people - I've seen her even get frustrated and start almost pounding the ball into the floor rather than dribbling it because people are not going where they're supposed to. As many offensive sets that Xavier has, it's going to take a while for the new players to learn them all, but it seems that progress is slow to be made. But Amy cannot be blamed - when she had to sit out the second half against Duquesne, the Muskies were outscored by 17, whereas they were within 4 points when she was playing. Point to the post players for not holding the seal on their defenders and not being aggressive enough. This team will be inconsistent all year because of its youth and inexperience but it will get better. We've been spoiled the past few years so now we just need to be patient for a while." on 10:21:22 01/07/02 Mon

  • And even though the leading assist player in the country last year, Reeta, is playing much more SG this year she too appears to struggle to find someone open. Assists as of January 5: Waugh - 21, Piipari - 63. That is an average of 11 apg between the two of them! (NT) -- DAve, 14:10:08 01/07/02 Mon
  • Make that Waugh - 91 (NT) -- DAve, 14:12:00 01/07/02 Mon
