Subject: I'm just wondering why Aida didn't play much yesterday. When she did play, she played 10 times harder and 100 times more aggressive than Nikki and Alexis put together. I mean, Aida only played 5 minutes, and had 3 points and 3 rebounds. I just don't think Nikki Wells was cutting it last night, nor was Alexis. I realize that the coach is trying to give some of the players some experience, but when you actually have a CHANCE of winning, you have to go with players that will get it done, and last night, Aida was one of those players.

  • Nikki Wells got her first start last night, but nothing is clicking on defense right now. I just took a good look at how we rate with the rest of the conference, and it's horrible. Dead last in defensive rebounding, dead last in field goal percentage allowed, and 10th overall in points surrendered is a recipe for disaster. Our offense actually has put up halfway decent numbers, but you can't allow opponents to keep shooting at over a 60% clip against you to remain competitive. UD got off to a quick start, and that was the game right there. (NT) -- X-band '01, 02:40:11 01/30/02 Wed
