Subject: A Consistent Starting Lineup?

Now that the A-10 season is heading into the final 5 games before the conference tournament, Xavier finally put together back-to-back wins for the first time since the Xavier Invitational back in December that included wins over St. Francis and Toledo.

With Kate Kreager out of the starting lineup for the 2nd game in a row, Aida Sarajilia tied her career-high with 12 points to give the Muskie frontcourt a desperately needed boost. Colleen Yukes got the start, but Henderson and Kreager saw most of the time in the post, and between the two, they got 11 points and 8 boards between them.

But this game was won with Amy's leadership, as well as another 30 point game (in response to her 32 against UMass last Saturday). The Muskie defense forced 28 Hawk turnovers, while only committing 15 TOs themselves. It was a good thing too, because the Hawks' Susan Moran easily eclipsed St. Joe's all-time scoring mark during the game.

Although still stuck in 5th place in the West, the Muskies are starting to heat up, and face Temple on Sunday at 2:00 PM. The game can be seen on WCET-Channel 48 in Cincinnati, with Betsy Ross and Nicole Levandusky doing play-by-play.
