**The mare's head drooped noticeably, and though she seemed a fighter, she looked no mare in the eye, scars of her cruel past running up and down her golden pelt. She raises her sculpted muzzle briefly to acknowledge the other mares, then quietly walks to unocupied corner of the meadow. Once alone, away from the mares, she is transformed, and she gallops around her little space briefly, before once more becoming another mare, a mare who was not worthy of anyones notice. Her past had taught her not to stand apart, her past had taught her fear, and dullnes.**
