Very observant Cherie and not too far from the truth. As much as there is back stabbing and cut throating in the industry, there is a proportional (one hopes) amount of hand washing and greasing to go with it. Back in the 30s and 40s, many of the movie studios, such as Warner Bros., used contract players. That's why you'll see a lot of familiar faces, especially in bit parts, show up in hundreds of B movies. By the 60s, in television, there were no "contract" players but you did see the same character actors and sometime leads in different shows but usually produced by one production company. One example is the actor Joseph Ruskin. He appears in hundreds of 60s comedies and dramas, most of them from Paramount. As late as a few years ago, he was still popping up in a Paramount series, Star Trek: Voyager. I can't think off the top of my head if there were common performers for the Fedderson shows, but I would hazard to guess that there are at least a couple.
