Subject: Edith Bunker on photography?

In some of the very first episodes of All in the Family (in one of the episodes between 3-10/1971, I think) Edith said something very profound about photographs - something like "suddenly everything stops, and after the picture's taken, everything continues again, and looking at a photograph makes one wonder what happened afterwards..."; I think she may have spoken about the subject twice in the episode. I lost the video tape, and I would really appreciate it if anyone, some other enthousiast, could tell the exact words she used.
