I am looking for suggestions for all aspects of a boat intended to sail from the Ohio above Louisville, KY to the Gulf of Mexico and still capable of oceancrossings...I know, don't want much do I?
I am just starting research on this project and will be learning pretty much everything from scratch. The intended purpose is to provide an escape route and living arrangements for my family in case of a major emergency, though if I can convince my wife we will be living onboard whenever I can complete the project. Thank you for any help at all.
