Sneaking Rules
You may sneak the following: ONE person from a territory or a mother and young pair (not the mother or youth alone).

These people can stop sneaks: The lead pair, the back-up pair, the beta pair, the parents, and the mate of whoever is being sneaked. If a territory has several high positions or very few, the people that hold the top three position pairs may stop the sneak.

These people can sneak: any non-restricted, non-captive adult (4 years) from any section. You may NOT cross-section sneak (meaning someone in the wolves cannot sneak a horse). Dark, light, and neutral horses count as one section.
If for some reason, the person being sneaked does not have a home that can stop their sneak, the sneak may be stopped by the royalty and leads (not leads of territories, but leads of the section) of that section.
You must sneak on the board of the side you are sneaking from.
Youth may NOT sneak or be sneaked alone.
If a sneak goes four days without a response stopping it by someone who can stop it, it is successful. *96 hours*
If a mother has offspring (adopted or biological) under 1 year, she may not be sneaked.
You may only sneak one person at a time and may not post more than one message sneaking the same person.
If the person is successfully sneaked, you cannot re-sneak it for 1 week; you must challenge for it.
The territory or individual person successfully sneaked from cannot be sneaked from for 1 week.
The person being sneaked MAY go ask for help, but you cannot stop your own sneak.
Each individual person may have no more than one captive at a time.

Once a person is sneaked, they will reside in the territory of their captor, unless their captor has a valid reason to put them elsewhere subject to the approval of the leads of that territory and the King or Queen of the section.
Anyone must be able to access the sneak- no putting <*/a> (without the *, obviously) in the subject line, and no scripts or html that blocks IPs, requests a password, or in any way prevents the message being viewed.
If the sneak is not visible without viewing the source code, the source code must be viewable. [If you don't understand what that or the previous rule means, don't worry about it- it's just HTML and Javascript stuff]
NO WORDS MAY BE MISSPELLED! Double check for spellings on the person you are sneaking and where you are sneaking from.
The sneak board may be cleared on or around the first of every month. No complaining.
Post in this EXACT format: I, (your name), sneak (who you're sneaking) from (from where). No words or letters may come between it and it must be entirely in English text. Not another font, not a picture.
These rules last updated September 28, 2002.
For people wanting to make their text the same as this background color, it is "cornflowerblue".

evil

As used by a hacker, implies that some system, program,
person, or institution is sufficiently maldesigned as to be
not worth the bother of dealing with. Unlike the adjectives
in the cretinous, losing, brain-damaged series, "evil"
does not imply incompetence or bad design, but rather a set of
goals or design criteria fatally incompatible with the
speaker's. This usage is more an aesthetic and engineering
judgment than a moral one in the mainstream sense. "We
thought about adding a Blue Glue interface but decided it
was too evil to deal with." "TECO is neat, but it can be
pretty evil if you're prone to typos." Often pronounced with
the first syllable lengthened, as /eeee'vil/.

Compare evil and rude.

Windsor, Wallis Warfield, duchess of
Related: United Kingdom History Biographies
1896-1986, American-born wife of Edward, duke of Windsor, who, as Edward VIII , abdicated the British throne in order to marry her. In 1916 she married a naval lieutenant, from whom she was divorced in 1927. The next year she married Ernest Aldrich Simpson, an American businessman residing in London, where she met Edward, who was then prince of Wales. The friendship between Mrs. Simpson and the prince continued after he succeeded to the throne in Jan., 1936. In Oct., 1936, Mrs. Simpson obtained a divorce decree nisi. Rumors of a projected marriage of Edward and Mrs. Simpson preceded the crisis of Dec., 1936, which resulted in Edward's abdication. On Apr. 27, 1937, the Simpson divorce became final, and Mrs. Simpson legally changed her name to Wallis Warfield. On June 3 she married Edward in France, where they made their home. By special letters patent it was provided that the duchess of Windsor should not share her husband's royal rank. Exiled, she and Edward remained in France and became prominent in international social circles. She was not officially invited back to Britain until 1967. She attended Edward's funeral in England in 1972 and was buried next to him at her death.

Bibliography: See her memoir, The Heart Has Its Reasons (1956).
