The alpha calls the wolves behins him. The female was a new wolf. She hadnt trained with them he howled folowed by the others. The surronded the horse in a tight circle, if one was damaged another would be placed and the circle would grow tighter. The apha and his mate were opposite, so were all the other mates. The Alpha male struck first, followed by a split second move by his mate. If there had been no rider it would have been easier. The female ran under the horse and as it ran tried to bite its underbelly while the male jumped at the neck, tied to bite it then raced to his mate's spot. This process was repeated. It looked very amusing and unreal to see wolves acting in this way.
