”The Outsider”

[As her closest sibling explained what had happened in her absence, disgustslowly replaced the determined look 'pon her facial appearance. And at once she could feel the close relationship she had had with her father become extremly strained. It was funny how Raistlin cared so much about all the other breeds and how he kept creating new ones. Funny how he could care less about his own. As Takhisis made her apperance, icy retina's narrowed. Emerald flecks flickering dangerously in that cold gaze. But she dipped stell dial in greeting for if anything..Pera had always known how to be civil. Yet her words were cold as she spoke to her]

A talon slid down 'er abdomen, chuckling softly:
I'm doing well, you?
She held her tone civil, yet cold in the same instant. Yet, the minx was very cautious- she didn't trust many...

[glancing between the two, his jeweled orbs of ruby 'n obsidian rolled ever so slightly][glancing to the elder's motions, he allowed his powers to grace her body][shaking dial, the ivory Shadower snorted in disgust and waited for something to come from his reports][granted, he needed to speak his mind upon the matter he had just recently figured out]

You bare a wyrmling, one of from Raistlin's son. You know that our Father will not be happy with your decision to disobey him

[necromancer merely shrugged and looked upon his sister's form][smiling ever so slightly, he forced it from his lips and remained serious][patience, unlike many in his family, was a virtue he possessed]

Silven occs swept toward Xephyr, occs narrowing severely. So, he knew who's seed was planted in her womb, did he? Realizing that she could have quite possibly been watched, she allowed the suprise to pass.
I'm well aware Raistlin shan't be pleased. He'll forgive...he has to.
She didn't elaborate on that. Twas none of their business upon her schemes. The shadows about her felt agitated, static, and prodded at her. With a slight incline o' her head she listened to them, sighing softly.
Onysablet was in Lavamis.

[smirking at the sorcerer's words, the brute merely touched his medallion upon his chest][ruby 'n onyx ooids remained upon the magic wielder's figure, his smirk growing into one like his fathers][sinister and alluring][clearing his throat, he immediately shifted his gaze to the growing ebon shadows within the middle of the cavern]

No offense, Takhisis. But I do not think you know my Father as well as you think you do. You are growing in power, aren't you? If you grow to powerful for your own good, he will eliminate his competition. Why do you think he wanted his twin murdered? Raistlin is crafty and clever... I suggest you watch your back, since it seems that you will not have many dragons to back you up when the time comes

[the smirk vanished, banished back into his look of indifference][turning gaze to his older sister, the necromancer merely shook his dial and waited for something, anything, to come from his findings][or a backstabbing comment from the mistress of the shadows]

[She listened to all this and if she was surprised she didn't show it. Finally she spoke, shaking her head as she closed lids over icy retina's]

She chuckled softly, shaking her dial. Not at all perturbed by the responses, she said coolly:
Do not pity me, Jeispera, I'm not the one who deserves your pity.
Her gaze switched to that of Xephyr:
Believe what thoust wish, for I can't change your mind a'all. I know at least that of Raistlin's kin. Aye, I've made mistakes -many. I'm not so arrogant that I do not sense that. I've gone against those I should have been civil to- like the healer who stands b'side you. Perhaps this child in my womb is a mistake, I have no such Sight to know that. Survival of the fittest, Xephyr, that is what we live by now- do you realize that? Thee hierarchy is bristling. Onysablet is threatening Raistlin's rule, and I'm sure she's already swayed one -or both of you. I do not fear for my own life in this, so I shalt speak freely. I worry for Everdark, for the Shadowlord. I worry for the Shadows existance. Our people are losing their place as that greatest branch of the Immortals. Face it: Raistlin got us to that point- he is the only one who can keep us there. Do you notice with his absence we're at each other's throats? This is not Everdark anymore, this is sad.
She paused, looking from one to the other:
I suggest we root out what is ruining us. And no, Jeispera..it isn't the half-bloods, however few they are. I might very well be the only one..who lives within Everdark at this moment. My powers are progressing as yours are, I am not a weak link here. You must at least, accept that. My plans, all of this...
She patted her stomach:
...Is for Everdark..for Raistlin.. I don't want to see him fall, I would kill myself first. I, for one, do not want to live in Everdark if he should die. You would most likely not take the throne, Jeispera, for I believe that Onysablet would beat you to it- considering that she would probably be the one to lay a hand against Raistlin.
So don't pity me, do not pity me for messing up..or for what I've done in the past, in the present.
I know my fate.

She ceased talking, looking keenly serious. The Shadowlord's apprentice looked for once like she spoke from her heart, instead of from her stone cold conciounsce. The Sorceress' gaze did not falter..awaiting a response to her impromptu speech, from Xephyr -and mostly from the heiress.

[She was silent, her backside still facing the other two. Her words were quiet but spoken clearly tinged with bitterness and regret]

Do you think I do not know any of this Takhisis? I know of my sister's intentions..I've always known. I'm not as neive as everyone has presumed for though I may not say much..I watch. I've learned as I have listened. Hiding in the shadows like you do now was what my past was all about. If you remember..

[She fell quiet as she chose her next words carefully]

I love my Father. I always have and always will. But I must look past that to see how he destroys us all. He is leading us to our deaths. Everdark falls apart around us and the Shadows one by one fall as well. It seems that everyone sees this..Everyone but my Father. Even the Dragons of CM are once again becoming stronger 'specially with the return of B&C which the visions have told me will unsurp Isis's heir. Things are changing rapidly no matter how slow it seems.

[And still she did not face them, overwhelmed by her emotions]

If Father dies at the hands of my sibling...It will be the price he pays for negligance and his overwhelming vanity. I'm not a killer Takhisis. We all know I am not a ruthless cuthtroat like most of the Shadows. I cannot destroy my Father. But Ony can.

[She shook her head slowly and with venom she finally spitted the last few words from her lips. As she spoke she slowly turned to face them, to reveal a mask of spite. Icy orbs blazed with a hidden temper never seen. The dark side of Pera..No longer the light that shined when all other lights had gone out..]

But I do promise you..Though Ony may be able to take the throne..I do promise you she shall not keep it.

Onysablet is merely a rebel, a result of her early childhood. Raistlin does not fear Onysablet, nor any of you. He fears me

| stepping from the darkness, I quickly allowed my jeweled optics to adjust to the shadows | mirrors of sterling conformed to each of my toned muscles, as I walked towards the group, stopping a few feet from the three of them | optics of the brightest blue, the hues of the rarest sapphires, shown gently upon each, individual figure | serpentine body toned with more muscles than a Shadow could ever possess, my aquamarine and diamond heart stone shimmered radiantly upon my breast | not just enhancing my looks and age, yet allowing me look more beautiful than any Shadow, except those born like her | nodding my viper dial adorned with onyx gazelle horns, my foreign and accented voice escaped my thin lips |

Jeispera, Xephyr, Takhisis. I am Yavieba, the bastard wyrm of Raistlin and B&C. The mistake your father and master will attempt to destroy

[At once she looked forward again to see Yavieba. Aye, she knew this dragoness..Had seen her once long long ago when she had still been a child. She knew also that this was the major threat..One of the reasons Da was not here for he had been off bitching at B&C for keeping her half-sister a secret. Not like she could blame the dragoness for lying to her Father. Yet she also understood her Father's rage for what she had heard was that this dragon was more powerful then Raistlin and B&C and all their children put together. That was something to fear. And she wondered if she also should view this as a threat..As an enemy. Or an allie]

Yavieba. Welcome. Are you sure it's wise to be here as my Father has a price set on your hide?

[She gave a nod as she greeted her, a smirk playing 'pon lips. The temper had been hidden once more..Artic's now twinkling with amusement with no hint of the rage that was once there]

A low hiss came from the sorceress, eyeing Yavieba. Yet what the minx said was true, she was B&C's child- that was fairly obvious whenst one knew the mother. Aye, she had been good friends with B&C in the past- and this Yavieba had some of the same features. Yet also- Raistlin's features aswell.
The sorceress smirked at Pera's words, emitting some o' her own:
'Pera's right, I wager.
She did not offer up a threat as of the moment, although she achingly wished too. So Onysablet wasen't the major threat was she? Yet- Takhisis knew that the mage was still a threat..even if this newcomer was more so.
Her shadow minions hissed in her ear, and she suddenly looked crestfallen.
I'd love to stay and chat with you, but I have some business to attend to. Important business...much more so then this charade. I'm sure we'll meet again..I enjoyed the chat.
She glanced at all three, then disapeared into the shadows.
..She had an audience with the Shadowlord..

| smiling, I merely nodded my viper dial and allowed my sapphire gaze to fall upon the heiress of this desolate place | I payed no attention to the other that had left my presence, knowing very well of her destination and further planning | no, not because I was a telepath | that would all be too simple | I just wasn't that stupid nor dense | glancing to the other Shadow, yet this one being a foreign milky hue, I smiled and nodded my dial yet again | returning gaze to the heiress, I cleared my throat and spoke in a rather melodic and pure voice |

No, no. Takhisis will keep him busy enough, Jeispera. He will have fun punishing her for disobeying him, in his own sick ways. But besides that... Why do you dwell in rage, m'lady Pera? I can feel it radiate throughout your body and mind

| blinking sapphires, I kept my gentle gaze upon her forlorn figure | she seemed so distant and secluded within herself | something that really did not think described this dragoness completely and truthfully | yet, I kept my mind clear and awaited any sort of answer that may very well tell me what to expect |

[She fell quiet as she let Yavieba's words roll over and over in her head. Why was she so mad? She knew..But she was reluctant to say. For her own reasons that she kept close to her mind. Glancing at her brother she looked back to that of her half-sibling]

You are not the only one Father has abandoned...Though you are much worse off when it comes to him..

[And it was because of her Father's randevous(?) with his various whores that she had lost all respect for the opposite sex. And she doubted she would ever become entangled with one]

| chuckling, I began to curse myself | how I heard her mind like nothing at all | touching her diamond and aquamarine heart stone, then looking upwards to her gazelle horns, the mistress of both shadows and mind finally allowed her orbs to gaze upon the heiress once more |

Perhaps you should meet my brother, 'Taren. He does not trust nymphs because of me. I think it would be good for you both. On the other hand, we all have been abandoned at points and times. Yet, I know you love him... And not just because he is your father. You two have a bond that none of the others have... And you know that, all too well... It's why you have returned from your adventures in the islands

| shrugging shoulders, I turned my blessed gaze from her to the darkness | the shadows I loved and would sacrifice my life for | even more than most would expect | they made me who I was | dark | distant | mysterious | and yet, cursed |

| merely shaking dial, I cleared my throat and turned away suddenly | sighing, my claws absentmindedly raked against my neck | as necklaces should adorn around, yet nothing to describe my powers hung | only frigid, cold and sterling scales | turning sapphires back to the healer, I spoke to her in a rather calm tone |

To be blatant, do not waste your time on mind barriers, Jeispera. You are not a telepath, and it would not help you if you were. My brother resides in the lands of our past, in a new Saber's Edge. I am sure he would enjoy your company

| blinking my brilliant blue optics, I attempted to share a simple smile | my powers were unrestrained | I heard everyone's thoughts, without hesitation and even with barriers | my necrodivine blood was not tainted with that of Shadow, though it was | it was hard to explain, and that is why my Father hated me | so complicated, so disasterous |

Charcoal hued brute entered into the cursed lands of the Shadows, depthless ebon ooids searching out his mate, his Yavieba. He most deffinately shouldn't be here, but he was quite beyond caring. Rarely did he care much for the consequences of his actions. Spotting her, sturdy legs quickly took him to her side, his features not nearly as beautiful and ethreal as the Shadower's about him, but handsome none-the-less. Settling himself by her side, he watched as another dragoness walked away, a dragon still sitting before them. He set his gaze upon that dragon, that Shadower, but said nothing. He was simply here for Yavieba. He could care less for much else...
