okay, well that "how-to" title was really just to make sure i get someone to read my comment.
my favorite comic is luann (see, you KNOW you wouldn't have read this comment if you saw a subject that said "luann"). it's about a fairly typical girl w/ a typical sibling rivalry and typical parents who shops in a typical mall w/typical friends. very typical, you see? but funny. whenever i go out of town i have my sister/neighbor/stalker/whoever save all the newspapers so i can stay caught up on luann when i get back. as far as i know, only the MDJ has it. i enjoy other comics as well, but we only get the MDJ and luann seems to be the best comic of all the comics in that paper.
as for your dumb people report...i concur. i don't like kids, i think keeping them in the house til age 13 is a good idea. wish people did that to me. kept me in til age 13. would've spared myself from a lot of public humiliation i'm sure. not to mention the fact that i was sheltered as hell anyway, so by the time i reached age 13, being locked in a cage or not, nobody would've been able to tell a difference in my naivety.
aaaand that reply to matt, corie and my's comments about updating your journal...well. THAT was disturbing. i just picture corie doing a guerilla crawl across your lawn, very spiderman-esque, but sideways...moaning "the laaaarrrrskeeeeeee" in a low, croaky, zombie voice. yeah, it's a freaky frightening image and the fact that you came up with such a thing in your head is...well...interesting.
