Hob,

You can email me the pics at purpura@purdue.edu i do most of the editing of the webpage.

Rushing has been going well. We initiated 12 new brothers a couple weeks ago. They are all very strong individuals that will add tremedously to our brotherhood.

The old cold air dorm was converted to a lounge...but we've decided to turn it into a postulant room for postulants to sleep in during their pledgeship. They are required to spend one night per week at the house (fall semester it was thursday nights...which will most likely stay the same). The brothers felt it best for them to all be in one room instead of split between a few other rooms as they were before.

Other good news is that the old composit room is being converted into a game room for the brothers called the "Crows Nest". It is being spearheaded by Brett who has done a TON of work on it. The room currently has the old semiwarped pool table, a new foosball table, it will have a semi-refurbished bumper pool table, and an electronic dart board. The composites will remain in the room, but will be better organized, and the room will also contain other AXP memorabilia like house flag we have signed by Coach Tiller.

The house is going through a major positive change. It would be a huge benefit to the postulants to get to meet some of the alumni, it will help them to gain a greater respect for the house as a lifetime commitment and not just 4 or 5 years.

In the bond,

David Purpura
