~The flamekissed youth leans gladly against her companion, hazel orrics closed wearily. Finally though she began to feel desperately dizzy from smoke inhalation and the pain of the burns hurt so much she could hardly bear it. Forcing her fragile peds into action she splashed slowly through the surging water and reached the safety of the far bank. Pushing her exhausted bodice to the limit she stumbled up onto terra firma and then collapsed with a frightened cry onto her side, Laying her delicate Thoroughbred dial on the sod long lashes closed over glazed orrics and she fell into a deep sleep. Perspiration and the river had darkened her flame huen pelt to a rich copper and her wispy tassles hung limply down her thin crest, drenched from the river water. Ribs protruded from beneath the filla's scarred hide. She looked a sorry sight, but at least deep sleep softened her pain~
