Subject: If Casey runs, Rick is finished

Your're 19 months away from the 2006 election and you're 5 points behind a guy who might not even be running.
Your have an "approval' rate in the low 50's and yet you trail Governor Casey's SON by 5%.
Your real desire is to be President of the USA in 2010.
Can you even risk the possibility of a close "win"?
What if you run and beat Casey narrowly? Where will all your right-wing supporters be then?
What if you actually lose to Bobby?
Wouldn't the better move be to announce your candidacy for President sometime this spring and tell your supporters that you need to start working on your 2008 canpaign, without the distraction of a 2006 re-election campaign.
Gee whiz! That sounds like a face-saving, career saving move.
Whadaya think Rickie??????
