~ Servant's Quarters ~

Pushing open a set of carved oak doors, you enter into a fair sized room, though it is smaller than most of the others in the house. Another set of double oak doors is directly across from you on the far wall, either side of them having floor to ceiling windows. Even from this distance, you can see that the doors must lead out into the garden, for the windows peer out upon colorful bushes and flowers. Another set of double oak doors lays to the left, leading into the kitchen, whereas the doors you had just come through led from the children’s playroom. To the right, there is a long hallway, two sets of double oak doors on each wall. Within the room before you, the carpet is burgundy hued and thick beneath your feet. Various paintings hang on the walls to add life and color to the room. Bookcases line the wall to your left, all sorts of titles upon them. A large rectangle table with four seats sits close to the far wall, the middle of it holding a vase full of daisies. Each chair has an ivory velvet cushion on the seat that matches the drapes that are pulled back from the windows. Not far from you is a large, comfortable looking lavender couch, a small table at either end that holds an oil lamp. A large ivory chair sits to left of it, while an ivory futon sits to the right. Tossed upon all three of these are purple pillows made of velvet. The chair, couch, and futon are all set up so that they are across from the fireplace. One can keep warm while resting or reading a book...
