*Stepping beside her he lets the wind consume his face blowing his dark mane and tail about as if it wished to be free. He spoke quietly and indignantly.* "I know she was on the good side m'love but deep down she was still my sister. Is it wrongful for me to love her? I was jealous for she always made friends quicker than I at her age. She was quick, smart, and kind. I was the dud of the family always beaten on by our father... then he killed mother. He killed her because of protecting Spirit." *Silent tears dripped down his face.* "It was quick and she felt nothing, though the pain we endured was far greater than any can imagine. I took my sister and ran away. I was young and didn't realize that punishing Spirit wouldn't bring our mother back. Am I growing soft m'love? So soft that I shame you and our queen?" *He looked down from the sky and towards her a soft light growing in his eyes. I knew she wanted a foal. She always talked about it with her friends. She wished to be married to a stallion whom cared for her, and protected her though she would never let a soul know about it. She spoke in her dreams only it was the only reason I knew." *His eyes are sad.* "I do believe in living in darkness for it is the only life I had lived until I met you..." *He smiled and nuzzeled her hoping she wouldn't pull away.* "I now have realized what Spirit has always wanted... a life of her own without having to hide from me." *He turned his face back towards the sunset the tears had stopped but his sadness still loomed on.* "I am sure that I have disgraced our queen but I still believe what my heart tells me." *He looked on towards the sky never blinking only taking in it's illustrious glory.*
