The flared nostrils take in scents of long ago travelled lands, and the still fainter scents of those once loved. He knew himself was not meant to roam this world much longer, being old, and very tired, however he returned in hopes of seeing once again the mare who turned his heart from lonely, to fulfilled. Her black hide dances across his dreams even now, and he can still remember her scent. He also remembered his son, that which was special and the only progeny he had, one from the loins of his only love. His life was perhaps to end soon, but he wished once more to see the one who made his life worthwhile, and the son who makes his legacy live on. He raises his quivering muzzle to the skies and emits a bugle call, one which would hopefully summon the mare he has loved and would love evermore, and the son long lost but not forgotten. He calls once more, for the BEauty known as Black Opal and the son known as Visionary.~
