Subject: Important Message Board Information

Hey Everyone.

So, I realized that if this is your first encounter with a forum or message board, you may be experiencing some confusion. For those of you computer whiz kids (ahem...UCI...), pay attention anyway.

1. You do not need to Login in order to participate on this message board...you know, where it says "VoyUser Login"...forget about that. However, if you frequent VoyForums (other message boards based at www.voy.com), you may choose to Login.

2. Can't figure out how to respond to a message? Simply click on the subject. For example, to reply to the first message I posted, you would click on "Welcome." Then, you will be able to view the message, and you will see a new message box with the title "Re: Welcome." Then, you just type in your info and a response. It is the same concept as e-mail.

3. What is a thread? A thread is a new message, with a new subject (not a response to another message). Anyone can start a new thread. At the upper right hand corner of the page, you will see a link that says "Post a new message." This enables you to start a new thread.

4. This message board is a drama-free zone! That means respectful dialogue and objective approaches to disagreements. That does NOT mean personal attacks or rabbid dog-like behavior.

Your compliance is much appreciated.
Perhaps, as a community, we can further discuss item number 4 and set some ground rules that everyone can agree on. Thanks!
