Subject: framing and stances

I have learned to practice the Chen Pan Ling form with a deep stance and with wide stepping- we play the form low to the ground and with lots of spiralling Chon si driving the movements. This differs some from the photos in the textbook, though they show Master Chen as an older gentleman, and from what I know of Col. Chang as an older practitoner. Just wanted to throw this out there and compare styles within the style, ya know?
