If you have his email just email him once a week or so and let him know how the "little man" is doing. Don't pressure him, just let him know how much his son misses him and would like to hear from him. If you do it enough he'll probably come around. Tell him by email that you be home alone at a certain time if he choses to call, but don't bug him. Tell him that it's okay with you that things didn't work out; but it's not okay for him to divorce his son. Just be nice enough long enough and he'll come around eventually. If he doesn't after all that then it wasn't meant to be. Does your mom go out at a certain time of the day when you could take a personal phone call? If so, let him know when it is so he knows it will be you answering the phone. If he doesn't want to talk with you, tell him he can just talk with his son. Tell him it's okay with you.
