I've gone to the Vegas shows for the past 3 years. This year was the first of those in which I was actually 21. Before that, I hung out in the casinos with the people I went with, I got drinks at the bars and restaurants, and I played a slot or two. I never got asked for ID. Now, this may have been because I was lucky, or it may be that the MGM Grand is not as strict as other casinos, or maybe I looked like I was 21 and therefore didn't get asked (which my friends will have to tell me if that was the case!)

If you're not planning to gamble, and don't make it look like you're gambling, I wouldn't worry about being asked for ID. You do not have to be 21 to be at the show, by the way. As for where we met the guys, it was mostly right after the show, outside of the theater doors. The guys would come out a little after the show ended, and there were always people standing around for pictures and autographs and all that. They were all wonderful, each time I've seen them.

So, there we go. I wasn't 21 until this year, and I didn't get into trouble. But I don't want to say that you'll definitely be okay, and then have you be asked for ID, because then I'll feel bad. :) But if you're just going to the casino for the shows, you should be okay. :)
