Not much you can really do about it. No one goes around in public wearing masks. Only in hospitals and doctors' offices. I ride a commuter train and subway every day to work, and you never know who's going to cough or sneeze on you.

We have to keep in mind that the people who died from SARS all had other chronic conditions. SARS just made it worse for them.

It's spreading across the country. And it's killing our tourism industry.

Oh, and West Nile Virus season is also upon us. We had two deaths in my city last year.

It's unreal, what's happening here.
