I so agree with you, Bix.

Without knowing it until a few years later, I got to see Diedrich actually in a drama series in the very early 1990's..."Quantum Leap". He played a biker. A real jerk. (I am still a fan of the show "Quantum Leap". I recorded the series when it was first run.) Oh, and in the credits, his name is spelled Dietrich instead of Diedrich.
