Well, this was my first time not only for watching Rendez-View but for dating shows in general. Are all dating shows like this? With people that you wouldn't want to know in real life on them?

In a way, the woman disappointed me more than the guy did. I mean, the guy was a jerk, but at least he was honest and up-front about it. I thought the woman would show some sense and ditch him after the dinner, but I guess the episode proved that alcohol *does* impair a person's judgment.

Greg & Ryan were fun. And I liked Sean Young too. But the other woman was a nothing for me.

And Greg is right; I don't remember the flowers / teddy bear / condoms ploy from my admittedly long ago and limited dating experience either.

My favorite jaw-dropping moment had to be the condoms in the hallway armoire though. Can you just imagine that guy's grandmother coming to visit for a weekend?

*old lady voice*
"Sonny, do you have any extra towels? Never mind. I'll look for them myself."

And then granny opens the armoire thinking it might have spare linens in it only to discover the condoms from CostCo. Sheesh!
