Subject: Upcoming Colin (and family) TV appearance on Canadian TV

The Magical Gathering is a holiday story that promotes both Canadian talent and Florida's Disney World.


Airing Friday, Dec. 17, on CBC-TV, it stars Colin Mochrie as an orderly but utterly joyless man who has his inner child awakened by a trip through the four Walt Disney World theme parks. Along the way, Mochrie encounters such home-grown celebrities as the foot-stompin' violin ensemble Barrage, the East Coast singing trio Shaye, composer-arranger David Usher (news), jazz vocalist Kim Richardson and country performer Doc Walker. Comic Dave Thomas and Mochrie's wife and 11-year-old son Luke (making his acting debut) are along for the journey, too.


The finale takes place on the Magic Kingdom's Main Street when Mochrie's character reconnects with the spirit of family and friends. Oh, and Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Tinker Bell and Pluto make guest appearances as well.
