Subject: OK, who saw Drew on "The Late Late Show"

I almost forgot that his first night was last night. I remembered only a few minutes before it came on.

Drew's appearance: That hair is something else! I know he's trying to make changes to himself, but then why the suit and glasses? We all know that he had the eye laser surgery a couple years back so he no longer needs the glasses. Did something happened that he needs them again? We have seen him on things without the glasses. The suit is also something of the past Drew image that maybe should go too.

Drew as a talk show host: At times he came across as being a little stiff. I'm going to believe that nerves was the reason for that. Plus, the monologue is standup and that is something he hasn't really done in a while. I did like it that he got in some shots at ABC and at the Emmy Awards.

Overall: Drew's first episode wasn't as bad as I had feared it might be. I'll check out tonight's episode just to see if he's more at ease.

One other note: This has nothing to do with Craig's height when I say that the show has a big spot to fill. Whomever they decide upon, I hope they give the person some time to make the show their own...as Comedy Central did for Jon Stewart when he took over "The Daily Show" after Craig left that.

OK, your thoughts...comments...whatever...
