Subject: DCS 7/23 (SPOILERS)

Now here were a couple of eps that I really enjoyed!

The first one was about L&O putting Drew's face & number on Buzz beer bottles to solicit a bride for him. It was just so completely something Lewis & Oswald would do.

I enjoyed the insults Drew & Mimi slung back and forth. L&O were also hilarious. There were so many good lines. My favorite is when they are interviewing the women who've shown up at Drew's place. Oswald asks if anyone thinks oral sex is disgusting. Only Lewis raises his hand then explains, "Since no one will give it to me, I've decided I'm against it." LOL!

Another funny line: L is comically upset that D doesn't have a woman yet to marry. Oswald pats L on the back and says to Drew: "We'd like to see you finally settle down so we could do some travelling."

Another: L, O, Drew, & Kelly are driving to New Orleans, though Kelly hasn't quite caught on yet where they're going. K: "Is that that little Cajun place in the mall?" L: "No, it's the big Cajun place on the Gulf of Mexico."

And: D: "You know how it is when you've known someone all your life. You can finish each other's --" O: "Lunch."

So many funny bits. After Drew has been talking all night on the phone to Lilly, he wakes up L & O and says, "We're going to New Orleans." The guys get up as Oswald says, "Alrighty." No hesitation, no questions.

The bit during the end credits when Oswald is dressed as a 1865 Southern belle & Lewis enters as a returning Confederate soldier. I swear he sounded like Foghorn Leghorn.

I keep thinking of more and more bits & lines I really liked. But I'll stop myself.

I WILL say that I thought Tammy Lauren, who played Lilly, was very good. I liked her a lot.

I also like the different ways they do the opening credits w/different versions of 5 O'Clock World and the other songs.

As for the second part of DCS, it too was good, though of course I missed the presence of Ryan. Still, Oswald did good as the lone goofy friend.

I wondered about Lilly always wearing pink. From her costume at the plantation to her lingerie. Then, at the end when she wore the black leather dominatrix outfit, I understood that they were trying to build up a strong contrast.

What else... I guess I'll stop.

Oh yeah. I miss Mr. Wick.
