I imagined that the original poster did a search for something to do with "lines" and came up with this site. If so, I think that's pretty funny. And that's what this site is about, no?

I'm all for discussing stuff unrelated to WL, esp since its days are numbered. :(

As for Lavender Blue, it always takes me back to my childhood. I had a friend -- an only child you might called spoiled -- who had all sorts of dress-up stuff. One day she planned on surprising her mother with a little show. She made me learn to play "Lavender Blue" on their piano (using one finger) while she practiced her routine. Then when her mom got home, I played and my friend sang and swayed while twirling her lilac parasol.

To this day, I can't stand the song.
