Subject: ex Colts coach ''smugglin' Bill'' Stewart resigns in Germany

Former Colts coach/GM Bill Stewart resigned from the Mannheim Adler (Mannheim Eagles) of the German Elite League DEL yesterday. He called it quits just shortly after the club announced its intent to rebuild under a new coach for the 2004-05 campaign.
Stewart led Mannheim to the DEL championship in 2001, but has also stirred a lot of controversy during his stint in Germany (no more smuggling though ;-)
