Hornell, Canisteo, Thatherville, Bishopville, and possible Freemount as well, will conduct a study of merging these cities as one calling themselves The Western Vally of Hornell NY. That would be a great plan, because, it will include more area for manufacturing, create more jobs and have a less of a tax burton for most of the western vally. It may even create a amtrain through the area with a stop at it's Hornell newly remodled Altroms new office building to view the beautiful recreation in h/o train setting of what Hornell used to be in the earliy years. Your doing Great Mr. Mayor in keeping the State from dropping you from the city charter to a village status which would mean a loss in city taxes.
