Hey Jay!

What brings you to Phoenix? Even since I moved here from Iowa 18 years ago I realize I have a very healthy respect for the people that are tough enough to do it during the summer months. ;o)

Yep, I relate to the 5 year old scenario. After my recent hand surgery I was going to fly back to Iowa to see my Dad. He's heard I *might* not be a true blue believer anymore and zog forbid, I lost my faith. He TRICKED me. Told me I needed to come back there for some R&R. I knew something was up and called my sis. Turns out he has numerous appts for me with his priest so I can be saaaved and become a flock person once again.

Ya know, it was tempting, really it was. But I have a sweet little mentally retarded Shih Tzu (yes, dogs can be MR too). She's not xtian and won't budge on the issue so I couldn't go. Oh, I wanted to go meet his priest daily for devotionals, lectures, preaching, or whatever it is that catholic priests do these days, but my pooch wouldn't let me.

Darnit! I wanted so much to be saved *and* by a catholic priest... considering all that morality of the vatican now... ;o)
