Two of the same, pass by in the dark
One on a quest the other on a lark
Each lays its path and converge in the same place
Then passion illuminates as each one looks at the other face
Similar in the heart, similar in the mind
Yet with two different destinies there's not enough time
So each looks at the other, knowing what they missed
Words can't be spoken, just a passionate kiss
If things were different, they would be together
But with the way things are, they know it's never
If seen they'd be chastised, ridiculed and maybe killed
Each knows their hearts, must be stilled
So they walk alone, through the trees where it's dark
