Taking The Cheap


Ah my heart
is in such a dilemma
Has not a problem,
of being true to itself.
Gets confused by others
with their untrue selfs.

Can't understand why
so many run from truth.
Or take so much delight
in falsehoods rampant spread.
while they lie in deceit's bed,
scoffing at True Love's red
or white rose of purity.
They do not have
the soul to believe,
a heart to relieve.

Have it so good,
taking the cheap
patterns of lie.
Which only makes me
deeply sigh.
When harder can be
as easy as pie.
