Jokes and laughing
Smiling and grinning
Sparkling eyes
Signs of happiness
On the outside of the mind
But on the inside its all
Just confusion and chaos
Whirling and twirling
Emotions all around
What to do
How to feel
What to think
Who to talk to
Whether or not to confess
Feelings that may
Or may not be true
Held hostage in this
Smiling happy world
Boiling waiting to overflow
The emotions want out
But the great keeper is
Making sure they stay in
Locked like a chastity belt
Waiting for the right time
Or the day it is too late
And everything is gone
Withering away
In the morning eyes
Of death or resentment
