Every summer the river near my home is getting Smaller. If the winter has been rainless it dries up Altogether and the brave, in jeeps, drive on its
Rocky bed and kill burrowed frogs; and every
Year frogs are getting smaller and rarer.


Spring and summer are never stopping express
Trains, which races towards winter. Every year
The journey is getting shorter, till I arrive at
The beginning, when time is getting long again,
But I won't be there to record its seasons.
