Crash

I start with my future, some future,
Skidding, fumbled, pitted stupor.
Crawl along the destiny veins that push out insanes.
Wrap up the endeavor chains around dream shames.

Windows are my eyes, despise.
Questing all the interior lies.
Slide through the fancy words past the raw nerves.
See the slips in the curves resting for what serves.

Tests to conclude what is real.
Ignore the texture of what I feel.
Plod away in sloppy illusion of learned conclusions.
Drink the chemical infusion to beat down delusions.

Wrap my head in tar paper.
Away from the cuts mind raper.
I am trying to see clear what is actually sure here.
Beat pieces out of fear and get agonizingly near.

Let me dress up in a new suit,
With a new skin to boot.
I can play a new refrain at being refreshingly sane.
I sneak just the same, just super crashingly same.
