Crystal Tears

Crystal tears, a million fell
each cutting to shreds the heart
as they fell like grains of sand
cried from a souls broken heart

One tear for each word, a lie
that had been counted precious
as love spun on fantasy
as visions seen were precious

A tear for each connection
two made one in desire
knowing heart and soul as each
love's flame became desire

A tear for each night she slept
and dreamed the chance to see him
reaching out in spirit quest
to touch his heart to love him

Crystal tears that fall from eyes
still hurt with remembrance
of one loved from the far past
but close in remembrance
