*sigh* it is very sad how things from our past can haunt us our whole lives. It seems to be the most powerful when teachers, who we respect, tell us we are less than good enough. I know many who have been scarred from teacher's and their insensitive words. On the other hand, I know many who have be so influenced by wonderful teacher's that they went on to become very sucessful and attribute it to a teacher. Wonderful writing.
